In partnership with Oregon Food Bank, we’re offering Cooking Matters, a free 6-week cooking and nutrition education program for households at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. The program will be held at BHOB Tuesdays May 14-June 18 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Taught in a hands-on kitchen environment, participants learn how to prepare delicious, healthy meals. The course challenges participants to reconsider food preferences, habits, nutrition, food safety, practical shopping, and meal planning.
