Favorite Things Fundraiser
We’re hosting a special fundraiser to buy food that supports our Food For All program and meets the needs of pantry guests.
Our pantry guests on a limited budget don’t have the luxury to walk into a grocery store and buy the food they need or want—they’re often limited to what’s on our pantry shelves.
This summer, together we can help our pantry guests sweat a little less by having them leave with a few of their “favorite things”—foods that are familiar, and that they can and want to eat. And with your help, we can do it!
The Need for Food Continues to Skyrocket
As food prices continue to increase, we have limited funds to purchase food beyond basics like canned goods, dried beans, and pasta.
With your donation, we can support our neighbors who need food while stocking the pantry with foods that are culturally-responsive, allergy friendly, and meet other special dietary needs.
Your donation will be used to purchase food that supports Food For All and food requested by pantry guests to meet the needs of their families.

Every time I shop at Bethlehem House of Bread, I take a big sigh of relief knowing I’ll leave with food my family loves, including my daughter who has an allergy, can eat. I usually can’t afford to buy specialty items, and while it may seem like a small thing, it’s a big deal to have access these types of foods. I’m grateful for this special food pantry and the kind volunteers.”

It has been a challenging few months. I was laid off unexpectedly and for the first time had to rely on food assistance. I never expected to walk into a food pantry and find food representative of my country. For our family, food is more than food—it symbolizes our culture and traditions. Thank you for providing food that is familiar and that we would purchase ourselves if we had the means.”

"These Are a Few of My Favorite Things..."
We asked pantry guests to share the foods they want to see on our shelves. They enthusiastically responded with foods that are nutritious, dietarily essential, culturally responsive, and a few fun treats to boot (it’s summer, after all). Here’s just a few of their favorite things.
- Tortillas
- Fresh herbs
- Popsicles
- Udon noodles
- Dairy-free yogurt
- Gluten-free products
- Hummus
