Join the Challenge!
We’re frequently asked what our most needed items are (thank you). This was the inspiration for our monthly pantry challenges, and thanks to you, they’ve been wildly successful. Our pantry challenges focus on our most needed items, things we’re low on—and we’re always happily overwhelmed by the response.
Each month, we put the call out for a particular food or other essential to fill our pantry shelves. We hope you’ll will be part of our monthly challenges to help support the nearly 900 families we serve monthly. Here’s what’s coming up for the year (subject to change based on need).
August: Canned Peaches
This month, we’re asking the community to help us stock up on canned peaches. Fruit is one of the most requested items, but it’s also one of the more expensive foods for us to purchase on our own. Canned peaches provide a nutritious, shelf-stable source of fruit that can be enjoyed year-round. Every can provides fruit to the hundreds of families we serve each month.
