Join the Challenge!
We’re frequently asked what our most needed items are (thank you). This was the inspiration for our monthly pantry challenges, and thanks to you, they’ve been wildly successful. Our pantry challenges focus on our most needed items, things we’re low on—and we’re always happily overwhelmed by the response.
Each month, we put the call out for a particular food or other essential to fill our pantry shelves. We hope you’ll will be part of our monthly challenges to help support the nearly 900 families we serve monthly. Here’s what’s coming up for the year (subject to change based on need).
July: Peanut Butter
This month, we’re collecting peanut butter (and alternative butters for pantry guests with peanut allergies). Peanut butter is an excellent, shelf-stable source of protein that kids and families love and we need! It’s expensive for us to buy and hard to keep on our shelves. One jar can provide more than 12 sandwiches.
